This wine impresses with a deep purple color and crimson halo. Aromas of raspberry popsicle, cherry chapstick, fresh cranberries, and cinnamon leap out of the glass. A weekend barbecue wine, this Carignan is acid-driven with fine tannins and a marathon finish. It pairs particularly well with fatty meats like beef brisket or duck confit. Get the Weber fired up!
Decant wine for one hour until winter 2022.
Serving temperature: 65°F
100% Carignan. Native fermentation and malolactic conversion. Lightly pressed. Aged in neutral barrels for ten months.
